Allison + Eric: Engagement Portraits 

with Texture

Photographers are continually looking for the next best thing to make their photos stand out. Some of them found that through the use of layering textured photos on top of your image you  can enhance your photos, make them more dramatic or give them a different feel. Since I'm also a graphic designer, I do this sort of work all the time to make that grunge look for postcards, posters and logos.  I'm not always a fan of the textured treatment on photos because I prefer the crisp, vibrant colors, but I wanted to play around with a couple of Allison and Eric's photos. I think the textured photos would make for really fabulous canvas pieces, but an entire album of them might be a little bit too much grunge for me. I'm really pleased with how these came out, but I'd love feedback to see if this is something people would like for themselves. So what do you think—if these were your engagement pictures, would you want to see these options in your proofs?
