Allison + Eric: Engagement Portraits

Meet Allison and Eric. Allison and I met in college at Oklahoma Baptist University. She is a super bubbly, smiley, super nice person! So her giggles won me over as a friend. We worked together at inner-city ministry every Friday night, which was followed up with Braums and Ultimate Frisbee (which is where I met my husband as well). Anyway, she graduated a year before me and found her man—Eric—here in Dallas. They're both super smart and like languages. I think she likes him... what you do you think? (She just looks so happy here.)We met at the new and super fabulous Montgomery Farms shopping center in Allen. Eric proposed to Allison at the San Antonio Riverwalk, so this was the closest thing to the Riverwalk in our area. They're making "sour faces" at each other. Yeah for fun wall paintings that give inspiration.

I love this one because they seem so peaceful and content to just be together. When I went scouting for locations, I found this fabulous thicket of trees! This was my favorite location of the day! The glowing sun, the tall trees! I love it!!
Isn't this an awesome tree with some fabulous lighting?!?I had this idea in my head of two lovers running through the forest holding hands and this is was came out of it. It's not quite perfect, but I think it's still pretty fun.
After our forest escapade, we went to a field with some fabulous tall grass and this area produced my favorites images of the day! The one below is my absolute favorite from the entire day!These are some other random favorites from the day. I asked Allison and Eric to bring along some props that would express a little bit them as a couple, so they brought some books.
So thank you guys for allowing me to be a part of this special time in your lives. I'm really excited about your wedding and super jealous of your honeymoon to Greece. Thanks and I hope you love your engagment photos.
